Kirby Dach headlines Blackhawks’ 2019 prospect camp roster

The Blackhawks released their prospect camp roster Tuesday, led by first-round draft pick Kirby Dach.

Dach, who was selected third overall last month in Vancouver, will showcase his skills from July 15-19 at Fifth Third Arena in Chicago. The on-ice sessions will be from 1-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday next week, followed by a scrimmage from 9:30-11 a.m. Friday.

The 36-man roster includes 19 forwards, 11 defensemen and six goaltenders. In addition to Dach, 2018 first-rounders Adam Boqvist and Nicolas Beaudin will participate.

Forwards Evan Barratt and Niklas Nordgren, who were selected in the third round in 2017 and 2018, respectively, are working their way back from injuries and will not participate in on-ice activities. Dominik Kubalik will also not be on the ice.

The Blackhawks invited six undrafted players to the camp that are not currently in the system, including two forwards and four goaltenders.

Forwards: Kyle Olson (WHL Tri-City), Jonny Sorenson (Minnesota)

Goaltenders: Devin Cooley (NCAA Denver), Stefanos Lekkas (NCAA Vermont), Mareks Mitens (NCAA Lake Superior State), Zackarias Skog (NCAA American International College)
