Morning Bag Skate: 7-9-19

The Blackhawks signed 2019 first-rounder Kirby Dach to a three-year entry-level contract. Former Chicago prospect Jake Massie signed a two-year deal with the Panthers.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Bulls signed 2019 second-rounder Daniel Gafford.

On Tuesday, the Cubs’ Willson Contreras and Javier Baez will start for the National League in the MLB All-Star Game in Cleveland. The American League has White Sox pitcher Lucas Giolito. The NL also has Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant as a reserve player, while the White Sox’s Jose Abreu and James McCann are AL reserves.
