My apologies for not being able to write anything on the Hawks/Ducks game on Friday, my internet has been on the fritz for the past couple days and I’ve only been able to get on for short periods of time. I thought the Hawks actually put forth a pretty good effort in the 5-3 loss, but the Ducks took control about midway through the 2nd and never looked back. I’d have to give the SCH Hawks Player Of The Game award to Jonathan Toews, who picked up his 11th goal of the season and looked strong on the puck all night.

I think tonight is key for the Blackhawks, who will have their 3rd home game of the year televised on CSN against the Flames. It’s time to end this little three game losing streak and get back in the win column. It needs to be a 60 minute, consistent effort tonight and I think the ‘Hawks should be able to beat a struggling Flames team.

Hawks Lineup:

Offense
1st line: LW Kane – C Toews – RW Havlat
2nd line: LW Byfuglien – C Lang – RW Ruutu
3rd line: LW Sharp – C Bolland – RW Burish
4th line: LW Koci – C Fraser – RW Lapointe
Defense
1st pairing: Keith/Seabrook
2nd pairing: Zyuzin/Sopel
3rd pairing: Johansson/Wisniewski
Goalie
Khabibulin
