Watch: Blackhawks’ Adam Boqvist scores first career NHL goal

Adam Boqvist scored his first career NHL goal for the Blackhawks in his second game Sunday night at the Honda Center.

Boqvist, the eighth overall pick in the 2018 NHL draft, drifted in from the blue line to the top of the left faceoff circle to take a pass from Alexander Nylander and fired the shot past Ryan Miller just after a power play expired.

Boqvist is the second Chicago first rounder in less than two weeks to tally his first NHL goal after Kirby Dach, who also netted his first goal in his second career game. Dach scooped up the puck for Boqvist’s goal.

Chicago recalled Boqvist from the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs on Thursday after he scored his first professional goal the night before.
