Blackhawks AHL Prospect Update for 12/13: Catching up with Dach, del Mastro and more

Source: Rockford IceHogs (Zach Larson)

The Rockford IceHogs crossed the 20 games mark over at the end of last week, so we thought it’d be a good time we check in on the Chicago Blackhawks prospects playing in the AHL.

Rockford started the season 5-2 but have cooled since to an overall mediocre record of 9-10-2, good for fourth place in the Central Division at the moment. The biggest issue so far for them is how streaky they’ve been: the IceHogs have been fluctuating between streak of wins and losses. Rockford is currently on a losing skid of six games, including back-to-back losses to the San Diego Gulls on Friday and Saturday when they were outscored 12-1.

Note: For this report, any player under the age of 25 at the start of the season and with an NHL contract will be considered a Blackhawks prospect.
