Blackhawks Top 25 Under 25: The 2018-19 midseason rankings

The Blackhawks are a little more than halfway through their 2018-19 season, so it’s time for Second City Hockey to unveil its midseason Top 25 Under 25 series.

The biggest change from the rankings in August is the departure of No. 1 Nick Schmaltz, who was traded to Arizona for forwards Brendan Perlini and Dylan Strome in a swap involving three former first-round draft picks. Both new acquisitions made the midseason list.

The midseason list is grouped into rankings compromised of five players per article opposed to the daily single player profile format in August.

All rankings are calculated on a composite score based on votes from SCH’s six writers.

The age cutoff will remain the same at Oct. 1, 2018.
