Anaheim torched Calgary to move into first place in the Pacific Division and leap over Los Angeles, the New York Rangers and Chicago (95 points) for fourth-place in the league. Ottawa beat Winnipeg and Philadelphia rallied to beat Washington, both games had no direct impact on Chicago.
Thursday’s scoreboard watch
Nashville can clinch a playoff spot with a win in Pittsburgh. First-place Dallas hosts Arizona, while Minnesota hosts Ottawa. Minnesota holds the second wild-card in the West.
