The above is just one sample of what Liz Spurlock, the artist behind Kustom Team Kicks, has created. A big Chicago Blackhawks fan, she realized she had no Hawks shoes – so why not create her own?
Since then, her work has really taken off, with tons and tons of Hawks shoes having been painted by her. Of course, her shoes aren’t limited just to the Blackhawks, but as this is the initiative of a Hawks fan – and her work has resulted in tie-ins to the Hawks and charities like the Bickells’ own Bryan and Amanda Bickell Foundation – most of them are.
Here’s just a further sample of her work, as found on her Twitter page, as well as Facebook:

These are all pretty gorgeous. And a brilliant idea – seriously, who wouldn’t want Blackhawks shoes?
