As we mentioned at the end of our podcast, we will be holding our first ever charity even on Feb. 12th. It is high time we gave back to a society from which we’ve taken oh so much. Courtney Beckham, who is the editor of Chicks Who Give A Puck — an excellent, all-female hockey blog , is organizing this at The Bottom Lounge for the Hawks v Yotes game that day. We’re throwing this event for the benefit of the Young Survival Coalition, the only organization that advocates for young women with or have survived breast cancer. We are really excited to have been chose to be the vehicle for this, and really want to make it our best roadwatch yet.
They’ll have plenty of memorabilia there to be raffled off, and we’re trying to get something with the BL about food and drink promotions that will go to the cause as well.
