Dominik Kahun has jaw-dropping reaction to Alex DeBrincat’s goal

Dominik Kahun making the Chicago Blackhawks’ roster out of training camp surprised a lot of people. But it was Kahun who was surprised Sunday night at the United Center.

Kahun collected his first NHL career point when Jonathan Toews scored the opening goal, but it was his second assist of the night that had a jaw-dropping reaction. Toews made a backhanded pass to Duncan Keith, who slipped the puck to Kahun at the right circle. Kahun then sent a pass to Alex DeBrincat, who was in front of the net and flipped the puck into the net for a 2-0 lead.

And Twitter loves it!

Kahun, who has played on the top line so far with the Hawks, signed a two-year contract worth $1.85 million in the offseason as an undrafted free agent. The 23-year-old recorded 41 points in 42 regular-season games then racked up 14 points in 17 playoff games last season to help München win its third consecutive league championship in Germany.
