Morning Bag Skate: 4-16-19

USA Hockey named Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane the captain for the U.S. men’s national team for the World Championship in May in Slovakia.

Blackhawks prospect Mackenzie Entwistle and the Guelph Storm look to complete an incredible 3-0 series deficit Tuesday against Adam Boqvist and the London Knights in London. The winner will advance to the Western Conference Final to play the Saginaw Spirit.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, Willson Contreras powered the Cubs to a 7-2 win over the Marlins. Welington Castillo hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning for a 5-4 White Sox win over the Royals. Both the Cubs and White Sox play Tuesday.
