The Chicago Blackhawks didn’t make any trades or draft any players during the first round of the 2015 NHL Draft in Sunrise, Fla. Rumors circulated that Kris Versteeg nixed a deal to send him to the Montreal Canadiens, but he denied it quickly.
Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel went 1-2 as predicted, while the Boston Bruins were the most active with a pair of trades that resulted in three consecutive picks.
