Morning Bag Skate: 10-5-18

Patrick Kane scored 38 seconds into overtime to give the Blackhawks a 4-3 victory over the Senators on Thursday in the season opener for both teams.

Brent Seabrook, Alex DeBrincat and Jonathan Toews also scored for Chicago, while Cam Ward made 22 saves in his Blackhawks debut.

Chicago prospect Adam Boqvist had six shots on goal for the London Knights in a 2-0 loss to the Windsor Spitfires.
