Morning Bag Skate: 1-18-19

The Blackhawks dropped their fifth straight game, losing 4-3 to the Rangers on Thursday at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

With the Blackhawks’ loss and the Kings’ win over the Stars, Chicago now sits in last place in the NHL. The Blackhawks are off until Sunday, when they host the Capitals at the United Center.

The IceHogs host the Griffins on Friday at BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Bulls lost their ninth straight game with a 135-105 setback to the Nuggets on Thursday in Denver.
