Morning Bag Skate: 8-11-19

There was nothing new on the Blackhawks front Saturday.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, Yuki Nagasato scored in the 65th minute and Alyssa Naeher had a three-save shutout for the Red Stars to extend their win streak to five games with a 1-0 victory over the Washington Spirit. Bastian Schweinsteiger scored in the 88th minute for the Fire to top the Montreal Impact 3-2. The White Sox shut out the A’s 3-0. The Cubs lost 10-1 to the Reds.

On Sunday, the Sky look to extend their win streak to four games when they visit the Los Angeles Sparks. The Cubs and White Sox both play.
