Morning Bag Skate: 10-19-19

Jonathan Toews scored 46 seconds into overtime for the Blackhawks to edge the Blue Jackets 3-2 on Friday at the United Center. The IceHogs scored three first-period goals en route to their first win of the season, 3-2 against the Wolves. After both games, Chicago recalled top prospect Kirby Dach from his conditioning stint in the AHL.

The IceHogs and Wolves play the second half of a home-and-home Saturday at Allstate Arena in Rosemont. The Blackhawks have Saturday off before they host the Capitals on Sunday at the United Center.

Chicago NCAA prospects Josh Ess (Wisconsin), Ian Mitchell (Denver), Ryan Shea (Northeastern), Alex Vlasic and Jake Wise (Boston) will play Saturday. Victor Ejdsell (Farjestad BK), Mathias From (Modo), Jakub Galvas (Jukurit), Cole Moberg (Prince George), Antti Saarela (Ilves), Max Shalunov (CSKA Moscow) and Michal Teply (Winnipeg) will also compete.
