Morning Bag Skate: Kimmo Timonen day-to-day with upper-body injury

The Chicago Blackhawks were edged by the St. Louis Blues 2-1 on Sunday as St. Louis moved into first place in the Central Division.

The defeat may not have been the only loss for the Blackhawks, who saw defenseman Kimmo Timonen leave the game in the first period with an upper-body injury.

The loss will make it difficult for the Blackhawks to earn the Central crowd, let alone second place. It looks like the Hawks will end up playing the Blues in the first round for the second straight year.
