Delia made 13 of his 28 saves in the first period and helped kill four penalties in the game. He’s won three of his past four starts while allowing two goals or less in each game.

Alexandre Fortin scored a shorthanded goal for the IceHogs (26-26-1-2), who have won four of their past five. Rockford moved into a tie for the fourth and final Calder Cup Playoffs spot in the Central Division with the Chicago Wolves (Golden Knights).

Tyler Sikura chipped the puck to the slot for Fortin, who snapped a shot past Ville Husso’s glove for a shorthanded goal at 8:22 of the first period.

Husso made 24 saves for San Antonio (19-21-7-5), which trails the Wolves and IceHogs by five points in the standings.

Rockford’s Dylan Sikura and Lucas Carlsson both had their career-long point streaks end. Sikura had 14 points (four goals, 10 assists) in 11 games, while Carlsson had nine points (one goal, eight assists) in seven games.
