Let’s watch some playoff hockey!
Here’s the slate for the next few days (all times CT):
Friday, May 5
Eastern Conference
New Jersey Devils at Carolina Hurricanes, 7 p.m. (TNT)
The Devils do know they can prepare ahead of time for their opponents, right? Like in the Rangers series, the Devils were soundly outclasses in Game 1 against the Hurricanes. They’re going to need to get it together quick because the Canes are a much better, deeper team than New York was. Carolina leads the series 1-0.
Saturday, May 6
Western Conference
Edmonton Oilers at Vegas Golden Knights, 6 p.m. (TNT)
Game 1 between the Oilers and Golden Knights was a high scoring, back-and-forth match that was exactly the entertainment everyone is hoping from this series. Leon Draisaitl scored all fourof Edmonton’s goals while Vegas scored by committee. Vegas leads the series 1-0.
Sunday, May 7

Toronto Maple Leafs at Florida Panthers, 5:30 p.m. (TBS)
