Czech Republic 4, Denmark 0
Czech defenseman Jakub Galvas (2017 fifth-rounder) had two shots on goal in 18:50 minutes of ice time. He had a secondary assist on the Czechs’ first goal of the tournament, but hasn’t recorded a point since.

Sweden 4, Kazakhstan 1
Swedish defenseman Adam Boqvist (2018 first-rounder) had five shots on goal in 19:55 of ice time. It was the first game of the tournament he has not recorded a point. He has one game-winning goal and three assists in four games.

Russia 2, Canada 1
Canadian forward MacKenzie Entwistle (2017 third-rounder via Arizona trade). who had a goal in each of his three previous games, was limited to two shots on net in 9:23. Defenseman Ian Mitchell (2017 second-rounder) had two shots on net in 16:25.
With the win, Russia clinched the top spot in Group A.

American center Evan Barratt (2017 third-rounder) had three shots on goal and served 2 minutes for a tripping penalty in 15:24 of ice time. Finnish defenseman Henri Jokiharju (2017 first-rounder) had a team-high six shots on net in 20:59.
