Marcel, who’ll turn 20 on Halloween, spent last season with the Gatineau Olympiques of the QMJHL, tallying 32 points (14 G, 18 A) in 52 games during the regular season, adding 8 points (3 G, 5 A) in 13 postseason games. He also played in seven games for his native Czechia’s World Juniors team, scoring 6 points (2 G, 4 A) during that tournament.
