Alexandre Fortin scored his first career NHL goal for the Blackhawks on Sunday night at the United Center.
Jan Rutta‘s stretch pass connected with Fortin to set up a breakaway for the 21-year-old winger who did a few dekes before firing the puck past Lightning goaltender Louis Domingue at 11:14 in the first period.

Fortin nearly scored his first career goal Saturday against the Blue Jackets in Columbus, but his shot bounced off Marcus Kruger, who was credited with the tally.
Chicago recalled Fortin from the AHL on Oct. 9 after forward Andreas Martinsen went down with a back injury. Fortin did not record a point in two games for the Rockford IceHogs prior to his call up. He tallied 21 points (four goals, 17 assists in 54 AHL games last season despite missing 23 games due to a lower-body injury.
Fortin joins Dominik Kahun as Blackhawks to score their first career NHL goals this season. Defenseman Henri Jokiharju and center Luke Johnson, who was assigned to Rockford on Thursday, have both yet to find the back of the net.
