Blackhawks’ Artem Anisimov, Marian Hossa, Andrew Shaw will play Game 1 vs. Blues

Artem Anisimov, Marian Hossa and Andrew Shaw will play for the Chicago Blackhawks when they visit the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday for Game 1 of the Western Conference quarterfinals at Scottrade Center, reports Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun Times.

All three players did not travel with the team for the season finale Saturday in Columbus. Andrew Ladd did not participate in Monday’s morning skate due to a maintenance day, coach Joel Quenneville told reporters. He is expected to practice Tuesday.

Anisimov hasn’t played since suffering an upper-body injury last Tuesday against the Arizona Coyotes. The 27-year-old forward has 20 goals and 22 assists in 77 games during his first season in Chicago.

Hossa suffered a lower-body injury against the Boston Bruins last week. The 37-year-old missed the Hawks’ final three games of the season. He has scored 13 goals and 20 assists in 64 games this season.

Shaw was injured last week against the Winnipeg Jets and missed the final four games of the season. The 24-year-old forward has 14 goals and 20 assists in 78 games. He scored five goals and 12 points during last postseason.

Duncan Keith took line rushes with Brent Seabrook, while Niklas Hjalmarsson was paired with Trevor van Riemsdyk. Keith will miss Game 1 as he serves the last game of his six-game suspension.
