How to watch the Blackhawks Training Camp Festival live

The Chicago Blackhawks finish off their training camp on Monday night at United Center with the sold out Training Camp Festival, which gives fans a chance to see the team scrimmage on its home ice, among other things. Missing out on the action in person is certainly disappointing, but luckily the team has set up a live stream this year so you can follow from home.

Here’s the schedule of events for the night:
6:30-6:50 p.m.: Player Warmups
6:55 p.m.: Pre-scrimmage video entertainment begins along with the national anthem and team introductions
7 p.m.: Blackhawks scrimmage begins

You’ll also be able to catch the action on the team’s official mobile app if you’re not at home, so props to the team for putting some serious effort into making sure as many fans as possible can catch this live.

It may not be real hockey, or even preseason hockey, but it’s something to watch before Tuesday night’s exhibition matchup against the Red Wings. If we’re lucky, there will be at least a few highlight plays, and also get a Teuvo Teravainen sighting. He’s been dealing with an upper body injury, though Joel Quenneville said he “could play” in the Monday scrimmage.
