The second period certainly started off better than the first, but it didn’t last long. Patrick Kane got a fortunate bounce off the stick of Dan Hamhius to open the scoring, but rather than the ‘Hawks being energized by that goal, it seemed to get the Canucks going a lot more. They answered shortly after, and then added 2 more for good measure.
The ‘Hawks defense has been a nightmare tonight. Oduya and Rundblad made mistakes leading to goals, but they’re not the only ones struggling in this one. Let’s hope they and the rest of their teammates can turn this around and get 2 points here.
