Hamilton Bulldogs trade Blackhawks prospect MacKenzie Entwistle to Guelph Storm

The Hamilton Bulldogs of the Ontario Hockey League traded Blackhawks forward prospect MacKenzie Entwistle to the Guelph Storm for five future draft picks Saturday.

Entwistle signed an entry-level contract with the Blackhawks in October after being acquired in the Marian Hossa trade with Arizona in August. He was selected No. 69th overall in the third round of the 2017 NHL draft.

The 6-foot-3, 181-pound right winger has 15 goals and 27 points in 29 OHL games this season. He recently returned to the OHL after scoring three goals in five games for Canada at the under-20 World Junior Championship tournament.

The 19-year-old Entwistle scored 104 points (46 goals, 58 assists) in 192 regular-season games for Hamilton, and 19 points (11 goals, eight assists) in 28 playoff games in his four seasons with Hamilton. He also tallied two points at last year’s Memorial Cup for the OHL champions.
