The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled both goaltender Antti Raanta and defenseman Kyle Cumiskey from the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs, the team announced Sunday.
Raanta previously went 7-4-1 with a 1.89 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage in 14 regular-season games with Blackhawks this season. He was sent down to Rockford on Feb. 22 when Chicago recalled Scott Darling.
In 11 games with the IceHogs, Raanta has posted a 8-1-1 record and two shutouts. Raanta did not appear in any Stanley Cup Playoffs games last season.
Cumiskey played in seven regular-season games for the Hawks this season. He has posted two goals and 18 assists in 54 games for the IceHogs in 2014-15. He previously tallied a goal and an assist in six playoff games in 2010 with the Colorado Avalanche.
