The Chicago Blackhawks only visit the Toronto Maple Leafs once a year, and today just so happens to be that day.
But today is special for another reason: the Hockey Hall of Fame is located in Toronto. The Blackhawks, as the most recent Stanley Cup Champions, of course had to pay a visit.

That’s all well and good, but you know what made this even better? Jonathan Toews‘ parents were at the scene.

This isn’t the first time they’ve been on hand for their son’s ring being added to the display – they’ve been there all three times, now – but that doesn’t make it any less mind blowing.
Seriously – their son is a three-time Stanley Cup champion. That’s amazing, and they know it.

Bryan Toews, on what Jonathan’s done at 27: “I don’t think of that often, but when I start thinking about it, I say, wow, really? So proud.”

As Toews’ dad points out, Jonathan is only 27. Who knows how much more winning is in store?
