Morning Bag Skate: Q’s profanity more than just outbursts

Day 2 of 4 without Blackhawks hockey. Somehow we are surviving. We have rationed the story ideas into several shifts in order to fill the void. I’m not sure how else we would survive this challenge. There are some things no man, woman, or child should have to deal with. This may be one of them. But, we are almost to Friday, people. We will prevail. We must prevail.

Four days is a long time to go without hockey, guys. I need another hobby. Welp, here’s today’s Skate:

**Rookie Teuvo Teravainen has had a fine start to a hopefully long and successful career with the Blackhawks. (SCH)

**Blackhawks players and fans alike are no strangers to Coach Q’s animated reactions behind the bench. But his profanity-laced outbursts serve as more than an outlet for his frustration. (Sun Times)

**Although it can be tough on us fans (and bloggers), the current four-day break is coming at a perfect time for the ‘Hawks. (CSN)

**Hockey teams have a knack for finding inspiration. For the Robert Morris University hockey team, they don’t need to look any further than junior Adam Cheung. (Along the Boards)

**Boston Bruins winger Simon Gagne will not return to the team this season after departing due to his father’s death. (Puck Daddy)

**Check out John Scott wearing a shirt of… uh…. John Scott. (Instagram)

**Sure, there were some pretty big name players snubbed from this season’s NHL All-Star Game. But maybe it’s really not that big of a deal. (Puck Daddy)

**After being selected as his team’s only representative, Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard will not participate in the ASG due to a groin injury. (CBS Detroit)

**In spite of constant trade rumors surrounding him, the Buffalo Sabres view defensemen Tyler Myers as a key piece to their ongoing rebuild. (NHL)
