Morning Bag Skate: 12-17-18

Goaltender Corey Crawford suffered his second concussion in less than a year in the Blackhawks’ 7-3 loss to the Sharks on Sunday at the United Center. Chicago is off Monday before hosting the Predators on Tuesday.

Collin Delia posted a 37-save shutout through all but 9 seconds to lead the IceHogs to a 2-1 win over Grand Rapids in Rockford. The IceHogs host Milwaukee on Wednesday.

The USHL’s Steel scored three unanswered goals in the second period to defeat the Phantoms 4-3 and win the weekend series 2-1 in Youngstown, Ohio. The Steel are on Christmas break until Dec. 28.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Bears defeated the Packers 24-17 at Soldier Field to clinch the NFC North Division and a playoff spot. The Bulls visit the Thunder on Monday in Oklahoma City.
