The Blackhawks head into the second day of the NHL draft with five picks, including two in the fourth round. The second day of the draft will feature rounds 2-7, staring at noon Saturday.
Chicago drafted center Kirby Dach of the Western Hockey League’s Saskatoon Blades with the No. 3 overall pick in the draft Friday. It’s the first time general manager Stan Bowman has drafted a center in the first round since 2014 when he took Nick Schmaltz.
Blackhawks vice president of amateur scouting Mark Kelley said it’s a real possibility the team could move to select a player on their board.
Here are Chicago’s picks for the second day:
Second round: No. 43
Third round: None
Fourth round: Nos. 105, 123
Sixth round: No. 167
Seventh round: No. 194
