Morning Bag Skate: 1-8-19

The Blackhawks dropped their sixth straight game to the Flames, 4-3, on Monday night at the United Center. Chicago continues its three-game homestand against the Predators on Wednesday.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the White Sox signed right-handed reliever Kelvin Herrera to a two-year, $18 million contract. The Bulls visit the Trail Blazers on Wednesday at Moda Center in Portland.

The United States Coaches convention starts Wednesday at McCormick Place. The highlight of the week will be the NWHL College Draft and MLS SuperDraft on Thursday and Friday, respectively. The Red Stars have the Nos. 1, 6 and 7 picks in the first round. The Fire hold the No. 5 pick.
