Evgeny Kuznetsov and Lars Eller each had a goal and two assists to power the Washington Capitals to a 6-2 win Sunday over the Tampa Bay Lightning for a 2-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Final.
The Winnipeg Jets look to follow the Capitals’ lead and take a 2-0 Western Conference Final series lead over the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday.
The Rockford IceHogs, the Chicago Blackhawks’ AHL affiliate, will wait until Friday to play Game 1 of the Western Conference Final at Texas.
