Morning Bag Skate: 11-9-18

The Blackhawks scored three unanswered goals in a furious comeback, but the Hurricanes hung on for a 4-3 win to spoil Jeremy Colliton’s coaching debut Thursday at the United Center. Chicago visits the Flyers for a Saturday matinee in Philadelphia.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports Thursday, Cubs second basemen and White Sox first basemen won the Silver Slugger Award for their respective leagues.

The IceHogs return to action Friday at Milwaukee, searching for interim head coach Derek King’s first AHL win. The USHL’s Chicago Steel are also in action when they host the Waterloo Black Hawks at FoxValley Ice Arena in Geneva.
